It’s about time we started blogging again… right?
It is time we shared with our friends out there in Blog land a very special wedding to Brandi and I. No this is not our wedding, for that you will have to go to our photographer’s website. This wedding is my Brother’s wedding. We had mixed feelings about offering to do this wedding in the beginning. It was a big task, and we knew that. How do you capture a very special day for a very special couple who is also family. There is no hiding from family – yah know?
As an extra twist… I was also asked to be in the wedding. How do you photograph a wedding that you are also in? Good Planning that’s how!
We always like to start with some of the details of the reception hall. It’s the details that make the hall yah know. The head table is always full of details, especially before any of the guests arrive.
We also love the added touch of the chair covers with the coordinating bows.
And the CAKE – hello look at the cake.
I love this cake. Love Love Love it.
Not only is the cake topper very Josh & Candice – but the cake itself is BEAUTIFUL!! The guys at The Bankery out did themselves this time. Seriously, we can not recommend them enough, they do an amazing job and we love it when our clients use the Bankery!
Did I mention there were some motorcycles at this wedding… hmmmm?
Ok, and Candice’s bouquet – gorgeous. Like for real! Rhonda at Millinocket Floral outdid herself with this one!!
Annnnnnnd we’re off!
Side note – LOVE the lighting in this shot. Got to be one of my favorite bride getting ready shots of all time – Seriously does my wife do a good job or what?
And the guys – got to the church on Bikes. One groomsman needed a little boost to get going.
Also – if anyone is wondering, I drove my truck to the church
!!!
One of the good things about being in the wedding and photographing the wedding… Best seat in the house. I had a bird’s eye view for the ceremony. Maybe I should be in more weddings!
